At Full Life Chiropractic, we take our responsibility to help you return to health seriously. We take pride in providing the finest chiropractic care to our patients. We utilize numerous techniques to help our patients get well. Below is a sampling of the different chiropractic services we offer in our Fargo office.
For many patients, Dr. Ryan Schroeder and Dr. Sam Duffield use the diversified method (manual technique) of adjustment. The word Chiropractic means "with the hand", and this is exactly what the diversified technique is. After locating the areas of vertebral misalignment, the doctor applies a controlled, gentle adjustment with his hands to the affected vertebral levels. Sometimes a patient will feel a "click" or "pop" sound in their spine when they are adjusted. This simply means that the affected area's vertebral joints moved well during the adjustment.
Drop Table Technique
During this method, a chiropractor uses a special table that will designed to allow for this great technique. The chiropractor will specifically set the table and then provides a sudden thrust to a patient’s spinal or pelvic area. As the doctor makes the thrust, the area of the patient’s body being worked on is simultaneously dropped by the table. This technique allows for thorough and less discomforting spinal manipulations.
After receiving an adjustment using this method, you may immediately feel better. Your flexibility, strength and sleep will hopefully begin to improve.
Activator Technique For some patients, the doctors will use the Activator Technique. The Activator technique utilizes a very high speed, low force adjusting instrument called an "Activator". Some patients are very apprehensive of the "click" or "pop" sound of the diversified technique and prefer rather to be adjusted with the Activator. This technique works very well for sensitive patients, the elderly, and small children.
